This report presents statistics on full- and part-time work and compares the effects of part-time work on pensions in the Nordic countries.
The aim of this book is to increase knowledge about public-private partnerships in the five Nordic countries, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland, with a focus on the welfare sectors in these countries.
The review addresses policy issues in a way that is useful for informed non-specialists as well as for professional economists. All articles are subject to peer review.
The message of the book is that refocused and recalibrated in a realistic scale, the Nordic welfare model has good chances of thriving well into the future.
